Transreal Fiction

Transreal Fiction opened in 1997 and is dedicated to science fiction, fantasy and other related books. We stock most new British and American science fiction and fantasy, both paperback and hardcover, together with an excellent selection of back stock, including a wide range of anthologies.

We have an extensive range of fantasy and science fiction art books, from people such as John Howe and Luis Royo to Chris Achilleos, Jim Woodring and many more. There are also sections for: 

• Tolkien, featuring various editions of LOTR and other items like art books, atlases, etc.; 
• Dragonlance & Forgotten Realms - we stock the hardcover and paperback novels as they come out – and also Warhammer, Star Wars, Star Trek & Doctor Who books; 
• Faerie art (especially Brian Froud); 
• Exotic cuddly toys!
Wolves or mammoths, anyone? Dinosaurs? Or bats, capybaras, anteaters, okapis, aardvarks…; 
• Calendars - we stock a wide range which include astronomy, fantasy art, faerie art, and origami.

Not in stock? We specialise in science fiction & fantasy but have access to most books in print, with the exception of some of the smaller presses. And when you visit Transreal, you’ll find we’re not too strict in only stocking genre titles!
