Howies Victoria Street is situated in the historic heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. A two minute walk from both the Royal Mile and the Grassmarket makes it the ideal place to pop in for a bite whether you are a visitor to our city or are simply out shopping.

Our chefs create new and seasonal menus every month using only the freshest local produce, offering traditional Scottish dishes with a contemporary twist, delicious desserts and special specials. A la carte lunches and fantastic value set-price dinners  can all be washed down with a bottle of wine from our extensive wine list. Alternatively, guests are welcome to bring their own bottle for a small £3 corkage fee (offer applies only to wine and champagne).

With the registry office at the top of the road we also make a perfect setting in which to have your wedding day celebrations. Call any time to arrange a personal meeting with one of our managers and you could have a meal tailored to your individual needs, an unforgettable occasion… The restaurant consists of two adjoining rooms seating approximately 35 each so we can accept parties of up to 70 people.
