Festival Stores Grocery Shop
Festival Stores is the Grassmarket’s all year round grocery shop. We sell everything needed on a day-to-day basis, such as fresh fruit, morning rolls ,daily newspaper, chilled drinks & ice cream (including a selection of Ben & Jerry’s!), as well as locally farmed seasonal produce, such as strawberries, raspberries and a selection of Jams and Chutneys. We also have Nationally Lottery and Paypoint facilities, through which it is possible to pay household bills and top-up mobile phone credit.
The Grassmarket, being part of Edinburgh historic town centre, is a major tourist destination, so we also stock some travel essentials such as toiletries, travel adapters, camera film, postcards and international phone cards. In addition to these items, we have a wide selection of Scottish gifts (Edinburgh calendars and landmark photographs) and foodstuffs, for example shortbread, tablet, fudge, haggis, and home-made pies. We also stock some organic produce, including chocolate, milk, bread, and fruit juices.
