Fawns Reid opened her wonderful treasure trove hat shop, Fabhatrix in 2002. She first started making hats in 1983.The Fabhatrix label hats are hand made downstairs. Some felted hats are uniquely dyed and trimmed to match wee scarves, brooches and hatpins. However her characteristic style really comes to the fore in the pieces that are made for the regular exhibitions.
