30 years and still designing!

Bill Baber Knitwear is a 'designer' business. That means each sweater in our Bill Baber shop is a new design. Edinburgh customers come to us to get unique sweaters, Edinburgh is only a small city and we like to be special!.  The shop contains about 400 different garments to choose from.  We use mostly  Linen and Silk  which makes the collection soft  and cool and very light to wear.

Each garment is made by hand - the colours and shapes vary so no two are alike.  The sweaters are made on site in the Grassmarket studio, and you can meet Bill and Helen in the day, working on their collection.

They have been designing now for over 30 years. The collection changes through the year depending on the season. As each garment is a new design the collection develops from year to year

We have many customers who now have pieces from the collection from us going back for 30 years; many of them still being worn and still looking good.  They are still enjoying the collection as it unfolds, and adding new pieces to their wardrobe.
