Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival
Arts Market : July 2011







An eclectic array of makers displayed their wares amongst the excitement of the Mardi Gras parade as part of the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival this year. Vinyl records, secondhand clothing, together with our first ever Vintage hair parlour, and an array of designer makers from knitwear, jewellery, to textiles, plus lots of yummy food.

An intoxicating spectacle of marching bands, hot horns and sassy singers accompanied the market. Vivid splashes of colour as musical excitement blended with stalls for those wonderful finds.

The market continued into the Sunday with live jazz and Capoeira dance (a Brazilian acrobatic art from) from Grupo Senzala Scotland.
